EricaParticipating in the 2009 Prep Camp was the best thing I have ever done for myself. Not only did I come out of my “stage fright” shell, I found confidence I never knew existed! I learned how to walk gracefully in 4″ heels while wearing a swimsuit, which might sound simple, but it takes courage.

I learned to love my smile, which is something I always hated. It sounds so silly because we all smile on a daily basis (or at least I hope so), but this was a challenge for me. I worked on different poses that would best show off my figure and worked on creating my own “walk”. This was my favorite part as I was able to show my confidence and my Puerto Rican flare. Not only did I get to work on my stage presence, but I also received make-up and hair tips, as well as suggestions for what bikinis and outfits to wear.

Cristin is the perfect motivator and a great friend. She takes her “Prep Camps” seriously because she wants to see her girls succeed. Without her, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Thank you Cristin!!!

The information I received at the ID Camp was so much more than I expected. From the nutrition information and theory, to the way you walk and present yourself onstage. I was very pleased with the presentation and professionalism of the instructors. Having a trainer/coach who knows what they are doing is key to knowing what works for your body type. I would attend another camp if I had the chance!

“Yesterday’s opportunity was amazing. I had no idea the work that goes into getting ready for a show and I am going to give it all I got in May. Writing things down–is key! I saw that the staff cared about themselves and other women (health, beauty and mind) and it was awesome. When we were wrapping up the day–I was choking back tears listening to Gretchen talk about being healthy because for the first time in my life I feel athletic and beautiful and as shallow as that seems–I love it. And for the record I never expected to hear the nice things they said to me and their words of encouragement. Thank you for giving us this opportunity!”

The prep camp for Fitness NM was incredibly helpful! Cristin Kiburz did a phenomenal job of sharing vital knowledge about what it takes to develop that edge within the fitness industry! With her help, support and encouragement I felt confident enough to compete at an international level my first year!

Without her assistance and helpful suggestions with competition strategy and planning I would not have found the success I did my first year competing! I would strongly recommend her camp to anyone who is just starting out, or veterans to the industry! Cristin’s hard work, dedication, and leadership she gives to the industry is unbelievable! She really does an amazing job of sharing information that is critical when competing!

TaraI decided to train for my first bikini and figure competitions about one year after I had my daughter, Ava. I was so blessed to have crossed paths with Cristin and Gretchen and their ID Fitness team. When I first started, I had no idea what I was getting myself into— from how to walk and show confidence & personality on stage, to figure posing and more– they were there to support me.

They even went through all of the ins and outs of how to create a sponsorship letter for financial assistance, who to go to for costumes, proper tanning techniques, and competition week diet and training secrets to look your best on stage!

I can’t say enough about Cristin and all of her passion for fitness and assisting others as well as Gretchen’s honesty and giving heart. I am so proud to be a member and now a leader of the ID Fitness team, as I feel honored to continue to share the knowledge I’ve gained with many new competitors each year.
